Practice walking in your shoes days before, especially if you bought them just for the interview. Tripping as you walk into the room sure is not really a pretty picture. It’ll also let you make adjustments should blisters or pressure on your toes show up after wearing them for some time.

As with cosmetics, it’s better to wear some than not wear any at all. But do keep it minimal, simple and elegant. Clip your nails. Steer clear of screaming nail polish colors. Better yet, wear none at all. Apply eau de parfum spray moderately. Pick something lightly scented and pleasing.
